Rustic Cabins is a new chapter for this self-catering, friendly and friend led holiday accommodation business, set within the quiet Assynt township of Achnacarnin.

Jumping at the opportunity to take on this little business from the caring stewardship of the former owner, we wish to continue the past successes in welcoming families & friends to come and experience this beautiful location, stay a while and explore the delights of what the Highlands have to offer.....in particular this wonderful and inspiring north west corner.

A popular holiday destination for many decades, Rustic Cabins is perfectly situated on the recently branded North Coast 500 route. Old and new travellers alike, we welcome all that wish to find their Highland dream.

 

Our passion for World travel and exploring our homeland of Scotland has brought us to this beautiful corner of the Highlands on many occasions over the years. Family holidays as kids and the pleasure to come here with friends and even for work as tour guides, has further increased our love for this land.

Alongside this, we had a burgeoning dream to settle in Assynt, which began in 2017 by purchasing a croft in the Achnacarnin township.

Before we knew it, right next door to our croft, the cabins called upon us and we can now look to live and work in the area as we continue to grow on our croft, grow our wee business and grow within the lifestyle that we have yearned for and chosen.

A true dream come true for us.
